How long can I skate?

We ask that skaters stay on the ice for no longer than 60 minutes so that all ticket holders have the opportunity to skate.

Where can I park?

Please head to 401 Park Drive in Boston. Upon arrival, follow signs on Park Drive to the entrance of our parking garage, located on P1. There are also several bike racks and direct access from the MBTA Fenway Station. For additional information, please email hello@401park.com.
 

Can I buy a ticket on-site?

Yes, tickets may be purchased at the rink, but quantities are limited. We recommend that you purchase timed tickets in advance​ to ensure your desired skate time is available.
 

Are there any age restrictions?

Skaters of all ages are welcome to enjoy The Rink. For skaters 18 and under, we require a parent or guardian to present on the 401 Park premises while the minor is skating.
 

How can I book The Rink for a private event?

Please contact us at hello@401park.com​ to learn more about reserving the rink for private events. Dates and times booked for private events will not be available for online or on-site ticket purchases.
 

Can I rent skates? What skate sizes do you carry?

Skate rentals are available in youth size 4 ​ to adult size 15. For any size below a 12 Junior, we provide the option of strapping on blade skates that go over toddler shoes. Skates can be rented for $7.00.
 

Do you sharpen skates?

No, we do not offer skate sharpening services.
 

Where do I put my shoes and belongings while I skate?

There are storage lockers available inside the skate tent. There are no locks available on site, but skaters are permitted to bring their own. Otherwise, we encourage guests to leave valuables at home.
 

Can my child wear a helmet?

Of course, extra protection is always encouraged. We do not rent helmets, but please feel free to bring your own.
 

Are there skate trainers available?

Ice skating trainers are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Ice skating trainers are tools to aid a skater who needs a little help staying on their feet as they make their way around the rink.
 

Does The Rink host any special events?

Yes, The Rink is hosting IceFlow yoga, skating lessons, and a broomball league this season. Please visit thefenway.com/events​ to explore the full schedule and register to attend upcoming events at The Rink.
 

Is there food and drink available?

Yes, there are several food and drink options surrounding The Rink, including Trillium Brewing​ and Time Out Market Boston. Time Out Market’s pop-up Après Skate Bar features a selection of seasonally inspired concessions on Fridays and Saturdays.
 

Do you close due to inclement weather?

If heavy rain, severe storm conditions or unseasonably warm temperatures are expected, The Rink may close for the safety of our skaters and staff. Closures will be given with adequate notice when possible at therinkat401park.com. In the event of a rink closure, all ticket purchasers will be notified by email and receive an automatic refund.
 

Do you offer gift cards to The Rink?

No, we do not offer gift cards.
 

Are there bathrooms available?

Yes, there are restrooms located on-site inside the 401 Park building.
 

Do you have a Lost and Found?

What is the smoking policy?

We do not allow smoking or vaping at The Rink. Guests will need to use the designated public smoking areas outside of the facility.
